Best And Worse: Drugstore Mascara

Hey!

Blog today... Best And Worse Drugstore Mascara... I think im going to make this another series... what do you think?

Lets get started before i ramble again... and before i start i want to say that all the mascaras ive said, i have tested.

Worst:
  • MUA Mascara Shade 5. With this product you get what you pay for. TBH you barley look like your wearing any... £1

  • Collection 2000 Volume Sensation. Not a sensation. I mean it does look better that the MUA one but still not that good. And this was the first ever mascara i owned... (Around £3)

  • Rimmel Scandal Eyes. The brush us too big! I cant use this because the stupid brush is so darn big. The mascara is so good on others but i have small eyes so i cant use this without it going everywhere. FIX IT. £6.99

Best:
  • Miss Sporty Fabulous Lash Waterproof. I <3 this. Everyday i wear it! No smudges and it is actually waterproof. £3.49

  • Maybelline Great Lash. Also amazing and stays strong throughout the day <3. £4.99

  • L'oreal Telescopic. LOVE! Defines your lashes amazingly. £10.99

  • Max Factor False Lash Effect. So good, makes my lashes look amazing and ive had complients on my lashes for looking so long. £7.99
Hope this helped!

What Eyeshadow Suit Your Eyes?

Hey!

So i've been doing some research on what eyeshadow suits certain eye colours.

Lets get started and i hope this helps you...

Do You Have Green Eyes?

Green eyes suit quite a few different shades of eyeshadow such as: Golden Browns, Taupes, Rich Purples, Peaches and Violets. These colours will emphasize your eyes and make them look like a striking feature of your face. For green eyes the Purple/Plumy/Violet shades tend to look best. BUT be extra careful not to overdo it and make it too heavy, this can make your eyes look bloodshot and no-one wants that!

What About Brown Eyes?

Well for brown eyes it's very easy for eyeshadow. I am brown eyed myself and we are VERY lucky because we suit almost all eyeshadows! (woo-hoo!) One of the best colours we can use are Metallics. This colour can make your eyes look amazing! Its makes them eye catching without being too dramatic. So experiment with many new and different colours. Have fun!

But I Have Blue Eyes?

If you have blue eyes it is slightly harder to find a good eyeshadow that suits your eyes. The best colours to use are the warmer shades like: browns, taupes, golds, plums and peaches. Blue shadows are not so good but can sometimes be amazing you just need to know what you are doing! I just doesn't look good. Like brown eyes metallics can look good but with blue eyes you need to stick more on the shimmery gold and bronzey shades. Enjoy experimenting!

Erm... Grey Eyes?

Unfortunately grey eyes are the hardest to find good colours! However I do find Charcoals, Browns and Purples work the best. Watch out though, too much of the same colour can look too trying. You want to look as natural as you can!  Mainly soft purple shades are the best to work with.

Finally! Hazel Eyes?

For hazel eyes neutral colours are amazing! Colours like browns, taupes, dark greens and olive colours. More good colours are pale pinks and pastel colours. Hazels are quite easy to find good colours that go well with you, so make sure you experiment but don't go overboard.

Hope this helped you! <3

RAVE!

PRODUCT RAVE!

Okay so lately i have been testing 2 products that are well-known on youtube. They are the Maybelline Color 24HR Tattoo and the Master Drama Khol Liner.
When I went to superdrug to purchase these items there was barley any left! I managed to get the Color Tattoo in 35-On And On Bronze, and the liner in Ultra Black.
Both products i love sooo much.

The liner i think is amazing. Its so well pigmented and it doesn't smudge one bit once its dry! Because i am a swimmer and i go 3 times a week its harder for me wear makeup daily. Whats amazing about this liner is that its waterproof and that it does last for 16 hours like it says, I'm usually up quite early for school and i go to bed quite late, this liner doesn't fade of smudge during the day which is great for someone at school who doesn't have the time to fix up their makeup. Also it is insanely black so it makes my eyes look fab! I have had so many compliments about my liner recently that i decided to RAVE it on the internet. I believe this product was £4.49 from superdrug which i think was definitely worth its money, and ATM its 3 for 2 on all maybelline products so take advantage of this offer! <3

So for this product i found this very hard to find, when they first came out i went to 3 superdrugs and all of them were empty on this product, but i waited a bit for the RAVE to die down a bit and i went again the other week. I originally wanted to get either the Eternal Gold one and the On and On Bronze one. But sadly... there was no Eternal Gold left :(. I am still looking to for this shade but I'm still loving the one i've got. The eyeshadow is so creamy and pigmented and thats what i love! Even though i have used this so much you can see that there is still loads left, thats because you only need the littlest amount for the eyelid. It looks amazing by itself and also with certain eyeshadows. This product costs about £4.99 from superdrug. Be sure to check it out :).

Top 5 Drugstore Foundations

Hey Guys!
Right, i havent been on this for sooo long that i almost forgot about it! But thats because i have been quite ill recently and then the other week i managed to sprain my ankle (cause im just that careful) O_o.

Anyway getting into my blog.... I thought i would do a top 5 drugstore foundations. I went into town a few weeks ago and had an urge to buy some foundations. Now i do always consider prices and if it is worth buying, rather than me wasting money. So i have a good chance to really try then and see what i think. I took some recommendations from my friends and what they said to stay away from... So lets begin stating with my 5th favourite...

5) Maybelline Eraser Foundation - Its is a good foundation but i have to be honest. For £9.99 its not worth it. I mean it does give good coverage and i do like the packaging but the foundation it self is quite greasy feeling. And it doesnt smell the best either. I can forgive a product for the smell but for a £9,99 foundation its not worth it at all. Also in the adverts it says you only need to twist it twice but for me (and i have an averaged sized face) i need at least 4 twists to get the coverage i want.

4) Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Foundation - I love this foundation very much! I have had it for a while just sitting there in my collection but i decided to give it another go. And i found out i love it very much. It gives a medium coverage which i like and it doesnt look that matte, but matte enough so it dosent look oily. Its definately worth its price which i think is £5.99.

3) Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation - I also love this foundation. I have my sister to thank for this. When i was younger i use to steal her makeup and try it myself and i loved it when i was younger and still love it now. Now in some places you can get it cheap and i get mine for £2.50 i think. It does as it says on the advert - it stays on all day and looks amazing on my skin.

2) Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation - I use this foundation on most weekends. I want to look fresh in the morning especially since i need to wake up early on Saturdays. It gives a satin finish and i thinks its £8.99 but i got it for £6.99 instead. I think you should definatley buy this foundation!

1) Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - Everyone loves this foundation. It does wonders for your skin. Since using this my skin has been insanley clear - no spots. nothing. I love it and its worth £9.99 all the way! I cant say enough good things about this foundation.

Right thats it! I think i might make this a series for blogs when i cant think of anything else to do :)

Makeup Wishlist

Hey Guys!

Time for another blog i think! Atm i am very sick so i thought a blog would be nice. The other day i was reading amarixes blog and i loved her idea of a beauty wishlist and i wanted to give it a go. Most of these products you see will be products i have been eyeing the most quite recently. This is also my way of reminding myself of the products i want rather than buying other ones and wasting the money. So here we go-

1) MAC powder bush in Well Dressed - I have been wanting this for ages! I love everything about it! There isnt really much more i can say about this!

2) NARS Blush In Orgasm - As you can probably tell by now I am a huge blush fan! But usually i go for the more inexpensive blushes from drugstores. For these past few weeks i have been looking at the higher end makeup. I have seen so many amazing reviews for this blush and i wanted to try it, however it is quite expensive!

3) MAC Eyeshadow in Nylon - I want this so bad! And theres nothing else for me to say about it, so here it is...

4) MAC 187 Brush - This brush i really want for foundation application. I have a joop for this that i got for like 99p at home bargains, which is amazing however it sheds loads! I need to fix that. And it is expensive im not going to lie but i WILL save up!

5 + 6)  Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation and CHANEL vitalumiere aqua foundation- Everyone i know who have tried these foundations LOVES them, they say they both give amazing coverage and are really easy to apply. Well like most of the others they are VERY expensive, and the Laura Mercier  foundation is the most expensive out the lot (oh no!)

7) Make Up Forever Smokey Lash Mascara - When i was browsing my subscription box and i saw SWalkerMakeup so i clicked on her page and i was watching one of her makeup tutorials and she used Smokey Lash, It looked GREAT!

So thats most of my makeup wishlist done, I hope you liked it!

Hey Guys!

Thats right  1 Litre! Now yeah i know what you all are thinking, "yeah yeah and how much is that gonna cost!" well you re right, £25! I no, very expensive probably not the best for your wallet, but hey! Its a fab present for a special someone! I for one seriously cant wait to buy it! How about you?
